Venturing Research Challenge is a three day event in which entrepreneurial-minded students and researchers interested in commercializing their business meet. You will learn entrepreneurship through mentoring and coaching from those who have done it before. You'll develop skills with which you can help researchers commercialize their research findings. You'll get contacts of researchers, entrepreneurs and students who like to get stuff done.

CASES:

1. DIGIMASI: Wild Berry Mapping. This concept renews tracking of wild berry yields by connecting web map services with information from Luke's databases and other methods, as latest technologies of aerial photography. The long-term goal is to double the range of commercial picking of wild berries.

2. LWA-Ca: Patented granular material for removal of water-soluble phosphorous from waters.

3. Hydroponic plant production in mines: Hydroponics enable to grow plants around the year also in an arctic environment. Reusing mines like Pyhäsalmi Mine as a platform for hydroponic production has a huge potential for productization.
