Szymon P. Rusnak
Vice-President
Szymon is studying International Business at OAMK, his current focus being societal sustainability through entrepreneurship and the empowerment of marginalized individuals. Regarding his previous experiences, Szymon has formal training as a project manager, project leader, project coordinator and as a certified project management professional. Interestingly he thinks in three different languages; English, Polish and German from which the last is used vocally often in the kitchen. Szymon’s gregarious and kind personality makes him easily approachable and an amazing conversation partner, assisting the OuluES in team building and development.

Hadi Mir
Secretary & IT wizard
With a background in computer science, Hadi Mir aspires to become a successful entrepreneur. Originally from Kashmir, Hadi came to Finland in 2021 for the masters program in computer science and has been part of OuluES. Hadi is passionate about technology and wants to create solutions for people and companies that would make the world a better and life easier. Hadi loves to travel and also likes to take photographs. According to Hadi, The OuluEs is a great place to make connections, get leads and learn about entrepreneurship in general.
Jobert Ngwenya
Events Lead
Jobert is an award winning educator who is Master’s student in Learning, Education and Technology, holds a Masters in Development Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education. He has experience in high school entrepreneurship education and institution based enterprises. Jobert hopes to combine his expertise and willingness to learn, in fuelling entrepreneurial thinking in individuals as he believes that entrepreneurship and innovation are the vital cogs to addressing global challenges. He looks forward to harnessing professional and business networks within the OuluES to drive entrepreneurial thinking among students at OAMK and University of Oulu.
Mikko Soini
Marketing lead
Mikko is a passionate entrepreneur currently studying entrepreneurship, with a focus on developing his marketing, sales and leadership skills. His goal is to reach a point where work doesn’t feel like work, and he is always striving to improve his abilities to achieve this. As a salesperson who is an entrepreneur, Mikko utilizes his marketing skills to build strong relationships with clients and drive growth. He is committed to lifelong learning and growth and is confident in his leadership abilities. Mikko is dedicated to making a positive impact in the business world and is excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.
